ive been on A late 89' kick with brent killin' it this year. no way can i narrow it down to a favorite year and show. just impossible imo

Warlocks 1989-10-09 -> i really love this aud source. you really get the feel of the crowd and the excitement and energy. listening to the first few licks of dark star the crowd just erupts with energy. so very powerful. i get chills down by back

a week later you get "Nightfall of Diamonds" @ Meadowlands Arena, NJ on 1989-10-16. another fall 89 powerful show. you can really tell the boys are ON http://archive.org/details/gd1989-10-15.mtx.hansokolow.96884.flac16

really anything from 1989-10-08 to 1989-10-26 was ON. a great tour. wish i couldve been there

I think the Attics would have left me in a puddle at that point

The air in the coliseum was sucked completely out at the first notes of Dark Star as the entire crowd tool a collective silent gasp. I have never experienced anything like it in my life.

Charlotte Attics is even better IMO.

My friend I was touring with spilled the beans about all the break-outs. It was still a surprise even knowing. He told a talker on the floor the 1st night if he did not STFU that the Dead would not play, Dark, Star, Attics and Death Don't. I always wanted to see that guys face at the end of the 2nd night.
